I arrived before check-in time and I could already go to my room. First I was a bit worried having a room facing to the canal - although nice view - about the noise on Saturday night because it was a warm night. but the second window proofed to be excellent. I had fresh aior coming in and the nois stayed out there. I had a really relaxing stay.

Situation in the centre of Birmingham and close to the Mailbox and Brindley Place and with its own parking.
Little bit noisy.

the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was in a good location
The thing that let the hotel down was the food, it was awful after sending back two meals and still not able to eat them because they were just dry and disgusting the restaurant staff reduced my bill but that was no good to my son who was a competitor in a British championships at the n.i.a and needed decent food.Things didn't get much better during the night that no one informed me that if you have a room on the canal side how noisy it is with people going along drunk i would have asked for a room the other side of the hotel. The only saving grace was how wonderful the staff were,we use premier inns regularly but will never go to broad st again.
